It seems that the killer is threatening to reveal Mick's undead identity. Fun and viewer review I thought the pilot was alright, but this episode really showed where this show is heading. The storyline was good, well thought out, with a clever villian and an ending that left you wanting more. :) Character development continued nicely in this episode, revealing more about both Beth and Mick's characters. Mick is obviously very protective of Beth and women in general, as illustrated by this episode. He also has a bit of a temper, which becomes more and more obvious. His vulnerable side shows at the end of the episode, not wanting Beth to see him in his vampire state, obviously ashamed. Amazing acting from McLoughlin there, as I just wanted to rush into the screen and hug him. Beth was marvellous in this episode too.Still a little unsure on Mick, but she can't stop thinking about him. The tension is slowly building between these two. This one also showed that Beth is willing to put her career on the line to help a friend, by harbouring Mick in her house, and willing to defy her boyfriend. She also puts herself in danger to save Mick. The ending was cleverly done by the writers. Beth finding out Mick is a vampire? She is shocked and confused, he is vulnerable and scared. Good relationship builder. Literally dying for next weeks episode now. :D Only complaint is the car scenes. It's a little too obvious that a green screen is behind the actors, making them look like they've been pasted into the scene as an afterthought. This show is going places! ;) If any video is not working or any episode of any show is missing , share your comments .
