Meanwhile, Beth tracks down a story about a dead prostitute. While Mick trys to avoid Beth after drinking her blood, their paths cross and they eventually team up to find the killer. Fun and viewer review A brilliant episode that encompasses the growing bond between Beth and Mick. The plot is sound and brings the two leads together in a realistic situation. This is done in order to display their growing bond. This episode helps to integrate Beth into Mick's everyday life, and brings her into contact with Konstantin, who plays an important role in Mick's life. This adds to the potential of the growing relationship between Mick and Beth. This episode also delves more into the fears on vampires. Through the anguish of the teenage vampire in his inabilty to ever 'grow up' and Mick feeling his pain we are able to see in more intricate detail the way Mick's mind works. His hopes and fears. I believe this to be a great episode for character growth. Especially as we see Beth acknowledge the special and growing bond between Mick and herself.
